Signia by Hilton brand’s first-ever new build hotel in downtown Atlanta, Georgia has started accepting stay reservations for 15 March 2024 and beyond.

The publicly-owned property is said to be the largest ground-up hotel development project in the city in four decades.

It is owned by Georgia World Congress Center Authority and is managed by Hilton Management Services.

Located near Mercedes-Benz Stadium and State Farm Arena, Signia by Hilton Atlanta features 976 guest rooms and offers access to the Georgia World Congress Centre via a pedestrian walkway.

With a height of 453ft, Signia by Hilton is the tallest structure on Atlanta’s west side and is built on the Georgia Dome’s repurposed foundation.

The hotel offers six food and beverage options including an Italian-inspired kitchen, a sports pub, an all-day restaurant and a pool bar.

Further hotel amenities include a spa and a fitness centre with yoga stations, a beauty bar and Peloton bikes.

With the opening scheduled for January next year, the hotel is expected to feature a flexible meeting space of over 100,000ft², an outdoor event deck and lawn and three boardrooms.

A joint venture between Skanska and SG Contracting is the general contractor for the 1.25 million-square-foot property, with Drew Company as the developer and Gensler as the architect.
