Hotel management company Plamondon Hospitality Partners has promoted Nichole Vasquez to regional operations director for its Marriott hotel locations in Frederick and Hagerstown, Maryland, US.
In her new role, Vasquez will oversee six hotel properties in Maryland and help improve guest experience.
Nichole Vasquez said: “In the hospitality industry, every day brings new experiences, new people, and new challenges—there’s always something to learn.
“I’ve had the privilege of helping develop many strong leaders thanks to Plamondon’s commitment to promoting internal employees. I’m incredibly grateful for this opportunity to step into an above-property leadership role, where I can utilise my experience to further develop my team of property leaders and contribute to the company’s continued success.”
Vasquez started her journey at Plamondon in 2010 as an hourly associate, and she has since progressed through many roles within the company’s property portfolio.
Her most recent role involved overseeing Marriott properties in Frederick and Hagerstown while simultaneously fulfilling the duties of general manager at Courtyard Frederick.
Plamondon Hospitality Partners hotel operations executive vice president Michael Henningsen said: “We are all excited to have Nichole join the operations leadership team.
“Her years of proven expertise with Plamondon will bring a knowledgeable perspective to the team, and her commitment to excellence in everything she does makes her the perfect candidate to support Plamondon Hospitality’s growth.”
Last year Plamondon Hospitality Partners has broadened its multi-state portfolio, including the launch of a new dual-branded Marriott in Grovetown, Georgia; and an acquisition in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.
The company now owns and operates 16 hotel properties, which encompass Marriott, Hilton, and InterContinental Hotels Group properties across Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Georgia.
Henningsen added: “We’re committed to offering the same exceptional service in all our hotels, so it’s vital to have a strong team supporting that growth to scale our business successfully.
“Our team’s job is to ensure that our properties receive the hands-on guidance and resources needed, and we look forward to Nichole’s continued success in helping us achieve those goals.”
