
The Westin Flushing LaGuardia Airport in New York, US, has opened its doors, marking Queens’ first five-star hotel.
This 13-storey mixed-use development in Flushing features a 244-room hotel and 48 luxury condominiums, marking a significant addition to the local hospitality landscape.
Developed by New York-based real estate developer Century Development Group, the hotel offers more than 5,000ft² of public space on the first floor, including two conference rooms and a grand ballroom that can house up to 300 guests.
These facilities are equipped with audiovisual systems, catering to both business and leisure needs.
Adding to the hotel’s features is a new dining destination, Hinoki Bistro, which offers a 12-seat sushi and oyster bar, a main dining room, and a lounge.
The hotel’s proximity to LaGuardia Airport and local attractions such as Flushing Meadows Corona Park and the Museum of the Moving Image positions it as an ideal choice for travellers.
