Hotel franchising company Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has expanded its Trademark Collection Brand in Europe with the opening of Hotel Avenue Louise Brussels in Belgium.

The new property is owned by Atom Hoteles and managed by Hotel Collection International (HCI).

It is the company’s first Trademark Collection by Wyndham hotel in Belgium and Wyndham’s fourth project with HCI in less than 12 months.

Hotel Avenue Louise Brussels underwent a $3.1m refurbishment and includes 78 spacious and soundproofed guest rooms.

It also features a new business centre for executive meetings and special events along with private parking space.

Trademark Collection by Wyndham was introduced in 2017 and has 113 hotels in the US, Canada, Belize, Mexico, Sint Maarten, Curacao, Australia, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Belgium.

The brand is expanding its portfolio with properties expected to open in Budapest, San Francisco, along with an additional property in Belize later this year.

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts Development Europe vice-president Christian Michel said: “This new opening marks an exciting step in expanding our Trademark Collection by Wyndham portfolio in Europe and around the world.

“Our Trademark brand is an important part of our conversion strategy. It brings our powerful scale and world-class capabilities to independent hoteliers seeking the competitive advantage of a global hospitality company.

“Its growth is testament to the unparalleled value of Wyndham’s recognition, which has become incredibly important at a time when travellers are looking for brands they know and trust as they prepare to travel again.”

Recently, three Ramada by Wyndham properties opened in Spain.
