Dimensional Stability of dnp’s Rear Projection Screens

By dnp denmark

dnp has released a paper that considers the dimensional stability of its rear projection screens in relation to temperature and humidity.

An increasing number of large displays walls are being established by installing modular display units consisting of a projector and a rear projection screen (typically 50in - 120in diagonal size). By tiling the required number of units, a display wall can be established in any size is needed. The performance of the display is related to four main factors of projection engine, image control software, projection screen, and mechanical manufacturing precision.
