IHG Hotels & Resorts has partnered with Dallah Real Estate Company to open a new Hotel Indigo property in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Located in Durrat Al Arus, the new hotel is slated to open in early 2026.

IHG IMEA managing director Haitham Mattar said: “After debuting the brand in Riyadh, we are delighted to sign our second Hotel Indigo property in the country this year – Hotel Indigo Durrat Al Arus in Jeddah.

“In line with the Saudi Vision 2030 and the country’s Tourism Strategy, our luxury and lifestyle brands are gaining a lot of interest from our partners and investors.

“We are confident that upon opening, these properties will be equally popular with domestic and international travellers and will add to the authentic experiences guests will be looking for while visiting Saudi Arabia.”

The new property will boast 271 rooms, 50 private pool villas, and a wellness facility, as well as new food and beverage concepts.

Hotel Indigo Durrat Al Arus will be part of a mixed-use development project, which also offers residential community, vast water frontage and man-made lagoons.

Dallah Real Estate Company also partnered with marine adventure company 17Sixty, to offer guests with marine flora and fauna experience.

Mattar added: “We are also honoured to once again partner with Dallah Real Estate Company, who boast a great deal of expertise in this sector. Together, we look forward to welcoming our guests to this exquisite property when it opens doors in 2026.”

As of 30 September 2021, IHG operated a network of 37 hotels across five brands in Saudi Arabia and 23 hotels are in the pipeline.

In July this year, the company signed new InterContinental hotel in Saudi Arabia in partnership with RIVA Development Company.
