The Kempinski Hotel Adriatic in Croatia is the first five-star luxury seaside resort on the north-western coast of Istria, and opened on 1 August 2009. The style is contemporary and active, with facilities ranging from wellness and golf (18-hole championship golf course only a few steps from the Adriatic Sea) to conferences (two conference centres for up to 600 guests) and private events, always with a focus on luxury and the ultimate guest experience.

A luxurious location

Situated right on the sea with its own private beach, lush green surroundings and stunning views into Slovenia, Italy and the Austrian Alps, the Kempinski Hotel Adriatic has 200 luxurious rooms and suites.

All rooms are equipped with Bang & Olufsen BeoVision televisions and home entertainment equipment as well as high-speed Internet access, minibars and safe. All rooms have a balcony or terrace that overlooks the stunning coastline or the hotel gardens.

In addition to unparalleled viewing experiences, all the Bang & Olufsen televisions are fully integrated into the hotel’s interactive information system, with one remote control for all actions.

“Bang & Olufsen was the obvious choice for me when selecting entertainment systems for the hotel,” says Miro Oblak, the owner of the Kempinski Hotel Adriatic. “In addition to the overall quality of the products, I was drawn to – and continue to be fascinated by – the outstanding material choice, ease of use and advanced integration possibilities offered by Bang & Olufsen. However, it’s the opportunity for customisation, the outstanding support and service I receive and – not least – the superb functionality that makes Bang & Olufsen truly unique.”

High-end audio and video systems: vision and passion come together

The first choice for some of the biggest names in the hospitality industry, Bang & Olufsen offers a complete line of televisions, music and entertainment centres and loudspeakers that add an extra dimension to the hotel environment and the guests’ experience.

In addition to this, Bang & Olufsen can tailor high-end audio and video solutions to hotels who wish to stand out from the crowd, where the result reflects a commitment to luxury lifestyle, sublime design, innovation, elegance, timeless style, world class entertainment, quality, and respect for the guest – the end user.

“The Kempinski Hotel Adriatic shows the versatility of the quality viewing and listening experiences provided by Bang & Olufsen systems. The quality finish, appearance and experience offered by our products mean they fit in anywhere,” says Flemming Nielsen, managing director of Bang & Olufsen Enterprise.

“When we see how the superb pedigree of our products has been brought together with the vision, passion and aspirations of the owners and developers of the Kempinski Hotel Adriatic, we are justifiably proud.”

Audio and video equipment for the ultimate guest experience

The selection of audio and video equipment throughout the Kempinski Hotel Adriatic reflects strongly the passion of the hotel’s owner and developer for Bang & Olufsen. All junior suites are equipped with two BeoVision 7-32 televisions with integrated DVD. One of the two presidential suites has a BeoVision 4-103 television, two BeoLab 5 loudspeakers, two BeoCenter 2 entertainment centres, and a BeoVision 9-50 television, while the other can boast of a BeoVision 4-65 television, two BeoLab 5 loudspeakers, two BeoCenter 2 entertainment centres and a BeoVision 9-50 television.

The Kempinski Hotel Adriatic is the first hotel in the world to make the BeoVision 4-103 available to guests in a hotel suite, offering unprecedented viewing experiences on its impressive 103in full HD plasma screen with a high-grade aluminium frame.

There is also a kids club for a children’s play and activity room where the kids can watch their favourite cartoons on a BeoVision 4-65 television and BeoCenter 2 DVD System.

The hotel features a 3,000m² spa, one indoor and three heated outdoor swimming pools, as well as an 18-hole championship golf course.
